Managers

  • Jennifer M. Jennifer has been with Countryside since 1994 (our longest standing employee!) She 'wears a lot of hats' in the hospital, working as a technician as well as managing the hospital's affairs (personnel, inventory, books and billing, etc). Jen has been with Countryside through our many transitions and growing pains, and feels that the long-term relationships that have developed with the patients and clients have been a very special part of the job. Jen and her husband, Andy, are the proud parents of their daughter, Kelsey and their son, Rhys. Their furry children include a cat named PC, and a Golden Retriever, Buddy.

Receptionists

  • Sharon. Sharon is the front office supervisor at Countryside. She moved here from Starkville, Mississippi in August of 1998 and has worked at Countryside since. Sharon enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and their two dogs, Gill, a large, shaggy, black, Humane Society rescue, and Lucy,a Sheltand Sheepdog. The last and most important member of their family is Flip, the greatest orange cat in the world.
  • Darlene. Originally from Scottdale, AZ, Darlene spent a short time in San Diego before moving to Fort Collins to fulfill her lifelong dream of working with animals. In her free time, Darlene ejoys reading, camping, gardening, watching movies and spending time with her boyfriend Jonny. Together, they have 2 babies, Lily, a Pug, and Cody, a Golden Retriever mix. Darlene hopes to get certified as a veterinary technician in the future.
  • Teresa. Teresa has been a receptionist here since 2003. She and her husband are the parents of McKenzie and Weston. The rest of their family includes 2 cats, Miss Hampton and O'Malley, and the cutest mixed breed of dog ever, Bagel. Teresa enjoys hiking and gardening.
  • Molly. Molly was born in Pueblo, CO and moved to Fort Collins to go to CSU and pursue a bachelors degree in Theatre. She graduated in the spring of 2005 and hopes to become a Special Education teacher in the future. Some of Molly's interests include fly-fishing, playing and coaching soccer, and hanging out with family, friends, and her Golden Retriever, Bailey.

Technicians and Assistants

  • Stacy. Stacy is currently enrolled in the pre-vet program at CSU. She lives with her fiance, Paul. Together they have a pug, Illiana, a cat, Terri-fied, three fish, an anole (a lizard), and a pet cricket named Chewbacca. When Stacy isn't studying and working, she enjoys reading, playing computer games, and taking Illiana to the dog park. She is passionate about all the Star Wars movies!
  • Sue. Sue moved from Illinois to Colorado in 1995. She has a degree in Biology from the University if Illinois. Sue is a sucker for Retrievers. She has Sammy and Tucker-two Labradors, and Colby the Golden. She also has three cats-Macy, Raphaela, and Jag.
  • Erin. Erin is currently working on a second degree in Biology at CSU. She has plans to apply to vet school next fall. She is the proud mother of two kitties, Charlie and Simone. She also has two dogs, Astro (an Aussie/Husky mix) and Noah (a Flatcoat Retriever.) When Erin is not at school or work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and pretty much anything that her dogs can enjoy outdoors!
  • Amy. Amy is an avid traveler and likes to experience life by going places and seeing what the world has to offer. To Amy, nothing beats the wonder and beauty of nature. She enjoys scuba diving, sports, reading, interior design, drafting, horseback riding, conservation and learning. The loves of her lifer are Otter, BJ, Dweezl, Nickie, and Munkee (all felines!), Lizzie the Iguana, BK Cricket (a horse), and Spike, Finlay, Dorsal, Vail, Soif, and Tiger (all fish.) Amy has enjoyed learning the French language, and studying abroad in Africa and Belize. Amy is currently a student with hopes of getting accepted to vet school.
  • Colleen. Colleen is a native of Colorado. She graduated from CSU with a degree in Equine Science and is currently working towards getting into vet school. She and her husband Bill have two cats, Oliver and Haley, two dogs, Jerry and Cedar, and a horse named Primo. Colleen is a part-time horse trainer and enjoys running.
  • Kim. Kim was born and raised in Fort Collins. She is a total cat lover. She has three of her own: Bear, Pickle, and Grim. She also "acquired" two outdoor neighborhood cats that she cares for. Kim has also been a hairdresser for 11 years.
  • Jill. Jill was born in a rural town in northern California. With both parents being veterinarians, it was destiny that she work with animals. She moved to Fort Collins in 2006 and joined the Countryside team in March of 2008. She has two pets of her own, Stormy, a petite black and white kitty, and Arrow, a black Labrador Retriever. She hopes to attend CSU to pursue her passion for medicine and her love of animals.
